
Last season we had more success in the YPU Exhibition than we have done for several years and it would be great if we
could keep up the momentum this year. During this season we had a presentation of the successful acceptances of both
digital and print entries at the 2021/22 Exhibition which provides a good impression of the standard of the Exhibition.
We are sure that there are many of our members who are quite capable of gaining acceptances and even awards in this
year's event.

Unfortunately our colour print competition does not occur until after the deadline so, if you are intending to enter the
same colour prints as for that competition you will need to print a second copy. Something for the committee to have a
look at for next year.

All entries to the YPU Exhibition need to be provided to Morris Gregory (YPS Print Secretary) for loading through the
YPU Portal. Documents have been circulated via email which provide information on the requirements for entry and forms
to be completed alongside the provision of your digital and print entries.

Annual General Meeting of the society where we:

- hear an annual summary from the different roles on the committee
- discuss, review and vote on any constitution changes
- elect committee and officer positions

Once matters are swiftly concluded, members are welcome to stay around and socialise in the room or the bar.

York Photographic Society will hold its 2023 annual exhibition at Poppleton Tithe Barn on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th
July 2023. Over 120 prints from members will be on display in the historic 16th-century Tithe Barn, including a
selection of awarded images at the YPU annual exhibition.
